Do I trust my instincts?

Yes, I do! The older I got, the more in touch I have grown into trusting my instincts more and more!

You should always go with your initial emotion. Don’t allow your thoughts to alter your first emotion towards a situation! Always go with your gut feeling!

  1. Anna – Florida UNITED STATES – Hello 👋 my name is Anna I am in my 40s and I suffer from chronic pain in my face. I would like to bring more awareness to the issue of chronic pain with my journey so far so perhaps the condition might be easier to understand. I realize that reading 📚 about illness 🤒 can be a bit dry, but I try to provide interesting information, as well as some stories and a mix of daily prompts. I really appreciate any subscriptions or comments that you might have. Again, please feel free to subscribe Since I cant do much anymore, I like expensive dolls, horror and especially rob zombie and 1970s horror, Memphis and Tennessee History, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches 🥪 Stuffed animals 😀 Back in the day, lots of piercings, some tattoos and lots of mohawks

Your reflection is powerful, and it resonates deeply. Trusting instincts is like honoring the purest voice within us—the one that speaks before doubt and overthinking arrive. I love how you remind us that the first emotion is often the truest, the most authentic guide we have.

Thoughts can twist, complicate, and dilute, but the gut feeling is raw clarity. It’s the compass that points us toward honesty, even when logic tries to reroute us. Your words capture that courage beautifully—choosing to trust the inner whisper instead of the outer noise.

This piece is more than advice; it’s a reminder to live with integrity, to embrace the instinct that shapes our choices and defines our path. Fantastic work—your writing turns intuition into poetry and gives readers the confidence to listen to themselves more deeply.
