Do lazy days make me feel rested or unproductive?

Advertisements

When I first started my firm, I use to work myself non-stop. Until the point that I was burnt out and I needed a few days just to get back to normal. But, even during those few days of recover I still felt like I was losing money and being unproductive.

It took me a few years to create a balance plan to where I wasn’t working myself to the burnt out level. I started planning at least 30 minutes of downtime for each day right before I went to pick the kids up from school. This has changed my life dramatically because I was able to reset into SUPER DAD before I went to pick them up. I’m able to leave the business at the office and not carry it with me.

Closing out my 5th year of business, I feel unstoppable and I also feel like the sky is the limit for me! As long as I stay on the positive and ethical path, I will achieve any goal I set for my business!

When I think of the word “successful,” Who’s the first person that comes to mind and why?

When I think of the word successful, I think about myself because I think about everything that I have in my life and I can’t help but to feel grateful!

There were times in my life that I felt lost and unmotivated. I felt like I was constantly living a dark place. I got to the point where I loved the dark world I was living in, because for the longest time that was the only place I knew.

GOD had to personally come grab me from my dark place because I was loving it so much. At that very moment I knew I was one of the chosen ones and I knew I was meant for greater life!

I will continue to live my life like GOD intended me to! I will continue to lead people to the promise land and I will continue to make ethic decisions to make sure I grow in the business world!

REMEMBER, NOT EVERYONE IS MEANT TO BE SAVED!

What makes a good neighbor?

In my opinion, a good neighbor is someone who is respectful, caring, and social!

During 2020, my family and I were living in Florida and we got hit by a category 4 hurricane. The area lost power for 5 days and I didn’t buy a generator to keep power on during the power outage.

Both neighbors on the each side of me offered up a few slots of their own generators so my family could have power to the important items. Every since then I basis my neighbors off of those two because they didn’t have to help me out but they choice to be a caring neighbor.

I rewarded both neighbors over for a hurricane cookout since we had a lot of food and nothing else to do after the clean up!

What could I try for the first time?

In the near future I want to go deep sea diving for the first time because I love the ocean! I love everything about it, I love how scary and undiscovered majority of the ocean is. I love being at the beach! I love swimming in the sea! Something about the beach and sea just heals me from the inside out. After spending a day at the beach, I always feel so refresh!

I want to be 100 percent honest!

I want to be loyalty to myself, my family, and the people in my life that deserve it!

I want to be accountable for my action!

I want to practice gratitude!

I want to be punctual at everything I do!

I want to be discipline at everything I do!

I want to show respect to everyone that deserves it!

I want to be patience at everything I do!

I want continue to master this journey and make GOD proud!

Eating better and dieting. I workout Mon – Fri and I love it but I don’t implement a healthy diet because I love to snack! And I also don’t like to eat healthy, it never taste good.

Especially with the holidays coming up, I want to lose 7 pounds. That way I won’t gain so much weight during the holiday season because I’m not saying no to my wife’s cooking or baking. I’m not strong enough to that!

When was the first time I felt like a grown up?

When I was 17, I graduate high school! I spent the first semester of college as a 17 year. At the beginning of the year after turning 18, I moved out of my parents house and moved in with some roommates. I never thought about the pressure of paying the bills because I knew each month that I needed to have a certain amount of money to clear my portion of the bills!

Eventually, I got tired of living around people and I just wanted a place a could call my own. So I embarked on my journey of living along! I absolutely loved the peace of mind of knowing I can do whatever I wanted inside of my place.

But that’s when I knew I was a grown up! And that’s how I knew I was going to make it!

What’s something I would attempt if I were guaranteed not to fail?

In my evil villain voice, I would take control over the entire world and make it a better place!

I would have absolute control of earth. I would place laws in order to remove any evil-being that is trying to ruin the peaceful vibe I created. There would be conferences held ever 6 months where all of the world leaders would come together and agree on trades for resources needed to survive and not hoarded the resources like some places are doing now.

The punishment for going against my peaceful movement will be automatic death penalty! If you can’t live among us as peace human-being, then you’re not welcomed here! I would make sure the execution is in public so everyone sees what happens to people that goes against me plan!

The purpose of this new world is to live peaceful among GOD’s creations and live in peace and harmony!

What was the hardest personal goal I set for myself?

Evolving into the man GOD needed me to be!

I had to look myself in the mirror and ask myself is this the man I was intended to me? At the time, the answer was no. I wasn’t the man I was intended to be, I knew I was meant for better things and I knew there were a few things I needed to change to become better!

I started changing my daily routine, I started to get rid of bad habits that were holding me back, but most importantly I started getting rid of bad apples in my life. Once I got rid of the bad apples, I started to appreciate the true people I had in my life and I also started focusing on my goals.

When you reach that point in your life where you know its time to evolve to the next level, there are certain things you have to be willing to get rid of. Some people are meant to hold you back and that’s it! Get rid of those types of people and focus on your personal growth!
