A PET PEEVE means something that a person finds especially annoying. It’s usually something that they’re more bothered about than the average person.
1st is when grown adults call their parents “MOMMY and DADDY”.
To me it sounds so gross! LMAO
2nd is when drivers don’t use their turn signals.
They built them into the car for a reason!
3rd is ANY LOUD CHEWING!
My little kids do this anytime they eat. So right now, I’m teaching them how to eat with their mouth close! But any adult human who eats with their mouth open is undiscipline!

I agree with all three of these but particularly the first one. The self-infantilization of adults is so cringe to me I cannot even lol
Agreed!!!!
Just out of curiosity what should grownups call their parents?

Mom and Dad!
I agree!!!!
Haha, this was such a fun read!
I love how you turned everyday annoyances into a witty list—especially the “Mommy/Daddy” one, that cracked me up!
Your writing style makes even pet peeves feel entertaining and relatable.
Keep sharing these gems, my friend—you’ve got a superb way of making readers smile.
I’d be delighted if you could also drop by my blog and share your thoughts there.
Your perspective would mean a lot, and it would be wonderful to keep this exchange of ideas flowing both ways!
Yes, I will!
Well said! Couldn’t agree more 🙌👍
Thank you!
Dear friend Robin, adults calling parents “Mommy and Daddy,” drivers skipping turn signals, and loud chewing gently remind us how small actions can affect those around us, highlighting the kindness in teaching children good manners early to help them grow with respect and consideration for others
I agree 100%
That’s why my wife and I have made that a priority in raising the kids!
