  • 0600 – 0700 = Get the kids up and ready for the day! Make them breakfast!
  • 0700 – 1000 = Hang out with the family until an amusement park opens up!
  • 1000 – 1800 = Have fun and enjoy life at the amusement park!
  • 1800- 1930 = Drive to a restaurant and have dinner with the family!
  • 1930 – 2100 – Drive home and give the kids a bath and read them a bedtime story!

This is such a wholesome and life-affirming vision of a perfect day. I love the balance you’ve created—discipline and self-care in the quiet early hours, followed by intentional, joyful time with your family. The early-morning coffee, workout, and silence feel almost sacred, and then the day naturally opens up into laughter, movement, and shared experiences.

  2. You get a lot done in one little day! It helps me sometimes to actually write it out like that so it really helps understand what I’m getting done!
