If I could permanently ban a word from general usage, which one would it be? Why?

The one word I would absolutely permanently ban is the N-WORD! Both ending in A and ER. Neither one of these words describe someone positively. It should be banned forever, no matter who says it!

That word comes from a time in history when people were being slaughtered. They were treated like sub-humans. They were hated simply for their skin color. Why would we want to continue to say a word that was created to recognize these people?

The DEMONS during these times simply wanted to destroy GOD’s creation. They were almost successful at the time. Why would I want to be reminded every single day I hear that word of what my ancestries went through?

    I agree it’s not a nice word and some consideration should be taken into what to do with it? For me, I dislike the same word for the reasons you gave but also because it is used in many movies that the reason why it’s used isn’t totally clear but I think it’s partially used so much because writers are “lazy!” If they get stuck, well they just insert the “N” word! I also don’t like it because I am tired of watching movies that it seems like a third of the spoken words are the same word used over and over! So just choose “any word “ like “dumb” for example. I wouldn’t want to hear “dumb” all the time either… thanks for sharing!
